welcome

Andrew Scrivener is a UK based web designer and developer living in Guildford.

I specialise in front end design and XHTML/CSS construction. I’m currently working freelance based primarily from my studio in Surrey but work on location with clients when required.

I've always had a real passion for design of all types ranging from architecture to the typography on baked bean tins.

I originally set out to be a traditional print graphic designer, but around eight years ago when a previous employer asked if I could transfer my print work to the web for him I got hooked on learning and . This allowed me to recreate my paper designs as pixels of light on the screen which led me to the murky world of web design.

Over the years I have worked with clients of all sizes including; sole traders, small medium enterprises (SME’s) and larger organisations. I like to think that I have a reputation for being professional and approachable without being pretentious or using jargon unnecessarily.

I love what I do and design websites with a focus on clean efficient design and hand written W3C standards based code.

If you'd like to contact me about a project you can either email me or contact me through Twitter or Skype.
