Andrew Scrivener is a UK based web designer and developer living in Guildford.

I specialise in front end design and XHTML/CSS construction. I’m currently working freelance based primarily from my studio in Surrey but work on location with clients when required.

I've always had a real passion for design of all types ranging from architecture to the typography on baked bean tins.

I originally set out to be a traditional print graphic designer, but around eight years ago when a previous employer asked if I could transfer my print work to the web for him I got hooked on learning HTML and CSS. This allowed me to recreate my paper designs as pixels of light on the screen which led me to the murky world of web design.

Over the years I have worked with clients of all sizes including; sole traders, small medium enterprises (SME’s) and larger organisations. I like to think that I have a reputation for being professional and approachable without being pretentious or using jargon unnecessarily.

I love what I do and design websites with a focus on clean efficient design and hand written W3C standards based code.
